INTERPRETATION SERVICES
Conference interpretation is a specialised service that must be adapted to the meeting you want to organise.
Main interpreting modes:
Simultaneous
Simultaneous interpretation is ideal for congresses with a high number of participants and/or which work in a number
of languages. Translation is received in real time via headphones. This kind of interpretation requires the use of appropriate technical material.
Examples: major international conferences, thematic conferences, boards of directors of multinationals, workshops, courses, presentations, etc.
Consecutive
Consecutive interpretation is ideal for meetings with fewer participants where work is
carried out in two languages. The interpreter is present in the room, takes notes during each speech and then provides a voice translation of same.
Examples: councils, business meetings, press conferences, media interviews (radio, television).
Other services
Depending on your needs and the event you want to organise, other interpretation modes may be appropriate, such as:
Interpretation with briefcase: light technical material, with 10 or 12 headphones
connected to an HF microphone for the interpreter. Good for small meetings and site visits.
Whispered interpretation: the interpreter is seated behind the participant (or
small group) needing the translation, to whom he or she speaks in a low voice.
Liaison interpretation: good for visits involving travel to distinct meetings or interviews..
